Refiner's Fire Ministries was birthed in Bakersfield California in August of 1997 through Pastors' Jonathan & Karen Scott.  With a call to intercede for the city, to reach out to the lost and to the diversity of the innercity.  To promote unity and reconciliation between racial, denominational, and socioeconomic walls that divide our city and the body of Christ.

In June, 1999, RFM was established as a non-denominational church. In October 1999 Pastors' DeAndré and Nicole Goree joined the staff with a desire to press towards the call and vision of the ministry.  The heart of RFM is to help meet tangible as well as spiritual needs.  We want to see people saved, full of the Word of God, abiding in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, walking in holiness and the power of His resurrection with Jesus Christ.

These Pastors' are our Praise and Worship Leader and Choir Leader, Children's Church Teacher, and Youth Pastor.
